Nathan is thrilled to be in his first audiobook reading and eighth show at JCHS. He would like to thank his director, Chanah Zimmerman, Ms. Ullman, and the rest of his cast for making this reading possible. He would like to thank his friends, family, and teachers for getting him to where he is today.
Gabriel (or Gabe), has done a couple of other kinds of performances at JCHS, such as participating in the Spring comedy and doing a stand-up comedy routine for the Freshman talent show. He loves doing classic nerd stuff, hanging out with friends, and doing media production. Oh, and practicing his accents and funny voices.
Zoe is excited to be in her 4th production at JCHS. You may have seen her in Antigone, the zoom production of FRIENDS, and Beyond the Zoom Glass. She would like to thank Ms. Ullman for always supporting her and giving her confidence, and Chanah Zimmerman for putting on this production of Sherlock Holmes.
Arianna really enjoys reading and watching Sherlock Holmes, and is incredibly excited about being part of the audiobook. She hopes that everybody enjoys listening to the audiobook!

Chanah has been with JCHS theatre for four years and is very exited to be directing her first show. She has adored theatre since she was little and is thankful to the cast and Ms Ullman for sticking with her through all the bumps in the road.
Ms. Ullman has been thrilled to watch Chanah lead the JCHS students to make a work of art together. In these times of extreme extenuating circumstances the students have stuck together and used creative problem solving to continue their work in JCHS Theater.
About the Story
Background
Scandal in Bohemia, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is the first Sherlock Holmes short story. It was first published in 1891 in The Strand Magazine. It was preceded by A Study in Scarlett (1887) and The Sign of the Four (1890). It is the first story in the collection The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Summary
The story opens with Sherlock Holmes and his former colleague, John Watson, reuniting. Holmes convinces Watson to work with him on a new case for a mysterious client. When the illustrious client arrives they discover that the client is being blackmailed with a photograph taken in his youth. Holmes and Watson set out to retrieve the photograph from its famed owner, but are discovered one moment too soon.
